Enjoy thrilling games, savor a BBQ picnic with your AU Family, mix and mingle at the Faculty Meet and Greet, and watch our Trojans face off in a showdown against Catawba College.

We`ve partnered with the @cityofanderson to turn @downtownanderson black and gold! Join us tonight as we celebrate the start of @autrojansfootball at Carolina Wren Park with a Community Pep Rally! Mayor Terence Roberts will be there to open the evening, as well as Dr. Whitaker and Coach Bobby Lamb.
We will have live music by our commercial music band @officialauthenticity, free t-shirts, lawn games, and more! Meet the coaches and players and wish them luck as they start the season. @trojancheerau will teach us some new cheers and you can take photos with Troy!
And let`s not forget these amazing food trucks who are coming out tonight:

Happy Friday! We`re back with another Student Spotlight! Meet Gillian Thompson, a student from Mills River, NC who is double majoring in Communication: PR and Theatre: Costume Design. Gillian loves meeting new people and has a passion for community-focused storytelling. She can always be found with an iced coffee in hand, and loves thrifting, content creation, costume design, and much more.

New on the blog: Dr. Tracy Jessup, Vice President for Christian Life and Senior Minister to the University, joins us as a guest writer with a devotional centered on our campus verse of the year.
Each year at Anderson University, a different verse of scripture is chosen to be the Campus Verse, serving as a spiritual anchor and guiding principle for the academic year. This year the verse is Philippians 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

The Expo is an AU411 event that allows businesses, non-profits, churches, restaurants, and AU offices, clubs and organizations to connect with AU students. Held at the end of Welcome Week every year, it is a great opportunity for students to learn how to get involved on campus and beyond. Thank you so much to everyone who participated and made it a great event!
