The Anderson University Office of Development hosted eight of 14 alumni of the College of Education from Midway Elementary School on campus for a tour of the football fieldhouse, to meet the AU College of Education Dean Dr. Channon Horn, and to connect with Vice President of Alumni Engagement, Leah Clevenger.

These alumni now serve as teachers and administrators at Midway Elementary, located in Anderson. Their Anderson journey didn’t end when they walked across the graduation stage—it continues every day through the lives of the students they teach and the community they serve.

“From the classroom to school leadership, these AU graduates are helping shape the next generation through education, mentorship and meaningful relationships,” said Anderson University Executive Director of Annual Giving Chad Alewine. “Their work represents one of the many ways Anderson University alumni continue to make a difference long after their college years are over.”
