The Kim S. Miller Family Enterprise Institute of South Carolina (FEISC) at Anderson University is pleased to welcome Advanced Metalworks, LLC of Belton, South Carolina, as the Institute’s newest family enterprise member.
Led by President Wesley Boggs, Advanced Metalworks, LLC specializes in high-volume production, metal fabrication, machining and welding. The company’s story grew from Boggs’ early entrepreneurial work with ArcForm Fabrication, which merged with Advanced Machining and Fabricating in 2019 to form Advanced Metalworks, LLC
The family business is currently undertaking a significant expansion in Anderson County. The company recently announced a $10.5 million investment in a 156,000-square-foot facility at 117 Blake Dairy Road in Belton, consolidating two existing Anderson County operations and expanding its fabrication and machining capacity. The project was announced with plans to create 69 new jobs.
