There are seven dining locations at AU. Our dining options include the Culinary Center, Books and Beans, Chick-fil-A, Chronicles Cafe, Troy's, P. Whitty's, and College Parke C-Store. With such a diverse range of dining locations, students at AU can enjoy everything from casual bites to hearty meals, ensuring there's something to satisfy every craving.
Dining Options
Culinary Center
The Culinary Center, on the lower level of the Student Center, offers all-you-can-eat meals, including homestyle and international options, a deli, and a pizza. It has lively and quiet dining areas as well as allergen-free and plant-based choices.

Books & Bean, on the lower level of the Thrift Library, serves Starbucks coffee, espresso, teas, pastries, and sandwiches, with healthy bowl-based meals from the Fresh Collection available at lunchtime.

Meal Swipes vs. Debit Dollars
Meal Swipes
Meal Swipes are deposited onto your card at the beginning of the semester and can be used until the end of the semester. If you have depleted your Meal Swipes, you may purchase meals with another form of payment. Meal Swipe exchanges are available in all of our retail locations, limitations may apply.
Debit Dollars
Debit Dollars works like a prepaid debit card that allows you to make purchases at any dining location to add Debit Dollars to your account visit the meal plan office on the ground floor of the Student Center. Debit Dollars may be added in any amount.
