Anderson University’s schedule during severe winter weather is available via:
- Internet: weather announcements will be sent to andersonuniversity.edu email addresses.
- Social media: follow AU on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook. All inclement weather notices will be posted on those channels.
- RAVE: Emergency notifications are made via text message to those signed up for the RAVE alert system. Click here for more information.
- The following television and radio stations for those without an internet connection:
- WRIX 103.1 FM (it will mention us often, since it is an Anderson station)
Probably the best source if you don’t have internet connection. - WYFF-TV watch the listings on the screen
- WSPA-TV, watch the listings on the screen

Decisions will be made on regular class schedules no later that 6:30 a.m.
Decisions on evening class schedules will be made and announced no later than 1 p.m..
Keep in mind, the media will not make announcements that classes are to be held, only announcements of closings.
