The Anderson University College of Engineering stands out for its unique approach, combining comprehensive engineering education with a liberal arts tradition and a Christian worldview. Established in 2020, the College integrates faith and learning, teaching engineering principles while fostering an understanding of and respect for God’s creation. Its mission is to prepare students to ethically and responsibly transform the world.
 

As an engineer, you’ll design, build, test, and manufacture systems and processes to benefit humanity. Whether pursuing electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our built environment. The College unites foundational science, engineering expertise, and servant leadership to tackle challenges in our world.

Engineering Summer Institute

This summer’s camp will consist of four separate one-day sessions. Each session will feature two main components: a detailed tour and collaboration with local engineering industry partners, and an interactive engineering activity guided by AU College of Engineering faculty. This year we are excited to host the activity portion at our new College of Engineering building at 907 N. Main St. Anderson, SC! Lunch will be included during every session. Sample Schedule
Arrive and icebreaker: 8:00 – 8:45 am
Board bus: 8:45 – 9:00 am
Travel: 9:00 – 10:00 am
Industry Tour: 10:00 – 11:30 am
Lunch/Travel Back To AU: 11:30 – 1:15 pm
Engineering Activity – Discipline Specific: 1:30 – 3:30 pm
Demonstrations/Competition: 3:30 – 4:30 pm
Students Dismissed: 4:30 pm
