Academic Background
Dr. Chad Rodekohr has been a Professor of Engineering at Anderson University since Fall of 2022. He loves teaching engineering courses, working with the Engineering Club, and mentoring students in research areas such as Sn whisker growth or carbon-fiber braiding. For him, the highlight of working at AU is helping students prepare for all of life – as Christians and as engineers. In past years, Dr. Rodekohr has hosted many astronomy nights, bonfires, Bible studies, and even a camping trip to the Colorado Plateau.
BS in Aviation Management
MS in Physics
Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering
Fast Facts
I love that Anderson University is an intentionally Christian University, glorifying God in all aspects of life – including engineering.
Engineering is quite challenging at times, but the investment made in learning this material has huge dividends for the rest of your life!
I have the privilege of spending summers working as a Manufacturing Engineer as Anderson seeks to strengthen our relationship with Dodge Industrial – a local industry. Anderson’s relationship with local industries provides better preparation for our students, and encourages industries to want our students.
Our new Engineering Building is both beautiful and functional, which provides our students with a host of unique opportunities.
