College of Christian Studies

Bachelor of Arts (BA), Christian Studies: Apologetics

Program Overview

The Christian Studies: Apologetics concentration will prepare future pastors and ministry leaders for success in the professional world. You’ll be able to build churches and ministries that know how to present the gospel in a way that makes sense to today’s culture. This program is unique because you’ll receive more apologetics training than at a seminary, learn to appeal to hearts and minds with truth, and study content that has 21st century relevance. Your professors are well-versed in the history and trends of apologetics and will teach you how to create a solid theological and philosophical foundation.

The Apologetics concentration provides you with specialized training that makes you a desirable candidate for churches and ministries struggling to grow in skeptical communities. Your apologetics-focused degree is excellent preparation for a graduate degree in ministry or divinity, too. You could work as a professor, church leader, writer, or an evangelist.

AU has joined Common App, a powerful online college application platform, to help streamline the application process!
