Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Executive Leadership (MSN-DNP)

Program Overview

The Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing: Executive Leadership concentration equips you as a leader to improve the work and lives of your colleagues and patients. Maybe you want to implement more economical financial practices, create efficient data systems, streamline reporting procedures, or ensure patient safety by serving on an accreditation board. This program guides you to the intersection between business and nursing. You’ll study organizational and management theory, strategic planning, and organizational development. You will also complete a scholarly, evidence-based project. With your degree, you may serve as a chief nursing executive, chief executive officer, clinical coordinator, or in other executive roles in hospitals, insurance companies, and accreditation and governing boards.
