Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Nursing: Advanced Practice (MSN-DNP)

Program Overview

The Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing: Advanced Practice program prepares you to lead and improve health care—from the clinic where you might work to the policies that govern our system. This degree is designed to teach you to use research to design, test, implement, and assess how we deliver health care. This degree equips you as a leader in your field and helps you establish, implement, and test national practice policies and manage clinical trials. At AU, we offer a flexible program catered to you, the working nurse. If you have an MSN, you can earn our 39-credit DNP in as few as five semesters.

Our Advanced Practice concentration will help you establish, implement, and test national practice policies, as well as manage clinical trials. In addition to your rewarding work as an advanced practice provider, compensation is excellent. Average salaries typically range from $90,000 to $110,000.
