Pre-Speech & Occupational Therapy Professional Pathway

Program Overview

The Pre-Speech and Occupational Therapy Professional Pathway program is designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for pursuing careers in speech therapy and occupational therapy. This comprehensive pathway integrates theoretical learning with hands-on clinical experiences to prepare you for the challenges and rewards of these vital healthcare professions.

Practical learning is emphasized through supervised clinical practicum, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings under professional guidance. You will have mentoring advice, graduate school application help, and committee recommendation letters as well as be prepared for licensure and certification, equipped to pursue careers as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other roles in healthcare settings dedicated to improving individuals’ quality of life.

Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
