Program Overview

If you are called to make a difference in the classroom, Anderson University’s Master of Education (MEd) helps you deepen your impact and grow as a leader. Launching Fall 2026, this program offers meaningful, research-based strategies you can apply immediately to support diverse learners. Designed to fit your life, this 30-credit program is fully online and asynchronous with multiple start dates—you can finish in as little as 9–12 months. What sets this MEd apart is its flexible, stackable design. You can pursue the full degree or start with stand-alone endorsements in Online Teaching, Gifted and Talented, or Teaching Children in Poverty.

You will complete an 18-credit core focused on learning theory, technology, and culturally responsive practice, while tailoring the rest to your career goals. Beyond becoming a more effective teacher, earning your master’s is a powerful way to increase your salary in the South Carolina system and prepare for future leadership or doctoral study.
