Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), Leadership & Learning: School & Community Leadership

Program Overview

The Doctor of Education in Leadership and Learning: School and Community Leadership degree is designed to prepare working professionals to lead, teach, and consult in the public and private sectors. You’ll be equipped with the highest level of scholarship and practical experience to serve in traditional education settings, as well as in educational businesses, churches, or nonprofit organizations. This 48-credit hour concentration prepares you to lead curriculum development, innovative learning experiences, and instructional best practices. This track also includes advanced study of human resources in education, finance for educational settings, assessment and evaluation for educational effectiveness, and theories of school and community leadership.

Admission Requirements
A master’s degree is required to enroll in this program.
Official undergraduate and master’s transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program.
Three (3) or more years as a Pre-K-12 or postsecondary teacher and experience in a related educational role are required for enrollment in this program.
The application deadline is one (1) month/thirty (30) days before a term start date.
