Program Overview

As an Industrial Engineering major, you’ll learn what it means to lead others in an innovative and impactful way. You’ll gain skills in optimization and improvement of workplace safety, process productivity, and design efficiency through interactive projects, internships, and capstone experiences. You’ll also study various techniques in project management and solution development that will help create ideal performances within your organization’s systems, equipment, and people.

Upon graduation from our program, you’ll be ready to apply your abilities into the workplace for optimal functionality. You’ll design solutions to problems, work effectively across teams and projects, and communicate technical information with industry partners. You’ll manage your company’s resources, equipment and systems, as well as employees to ensure continuous progress. Your expertise will be highly valued across your job field in a rapidly changing job market. Our goal is to help you develop your leadership skills to create a Christlike impact while also contributing to the advancement of your future establishment. You can build a better environment for your industry through effective and thoughtful management.

Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped with the competencies needed to thrive in a wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, consulting, and supply chain management. Additionally, students can pursue careers as a quality control specialist, process engineer, or operations manager. You’ll also be prepared to further your education through graduate programs in industrial, mechanical, and electrical engineering and management.

Admission Requirements
No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.
Official high school or GED transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from their previous school.
Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
