Alumni Award Nominations

Anderson University Invites you to nominate a fellow alumnus/a of Anderson University or yourself for recognition of significant achievement and service.

Anderson University recognizes three alumni annually with the following awards each Founders Day.

Please reflect on the following award definitions and associated criteria associated with each as you consider a worthy nominee.

Distinguished Young Alumni Award

This award is presented to an alumnus/a no older than forty who exemplifies in his/her life the educational philosophy of Anderson University.

Recommended Qualifying Criteria

Nominees should have:

• Demonstrated exceptional professional achievement early in career
• Evidence of leadership and advancement
• Meaningful service to community or profession
• Positive representation of Anderson University

The Alumni Achievement Award

The Alumni Achievement Award is presented to an alumnus/a in recognition of his/her significant achievement in his/her profession.

Recommended Qualifying Criteria

Nominees should have:

• National, regional, or significant professional impact
• Sustained leadership and achievement over time
• Exemplary character and integrity
• Significant contributions to community or society
• Positive representation of the university
• May be awarded posthumously if desired

The Alumni Service Award

This award is presented to an alumnus/a for his/her outstanding and unselfish service to his/her alma mater, community, and to humanity.

Recommended Qualifying Criteria

Nominees should have:

• Strong commitment to Anderson University
• Significant volunteer leadership
• Contributions to alumni engagement, student recruitment and success, or institutional advancement
• Consistent advocacy for the University
