Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
Anderson University’s pre-law pathway is defined by experiences that prepare students long before they reach law school. Through the Junior Seminar, students receive LSAT strategies, application guidance, and insights into law school life. Mock trials and legislatures offer realistic simulations that sharpen advocacy, logic, and public speaking. Internships at national, state, and local levels connect classroom learning to the workplace, giving students practical experience and professional connections.
Beyond coursework and field experience, students grow through honor societies such as Phi Alpha Theta, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Gamma Beta Phi, gaining recognition and leadership opportunities. Cultural enhancement activities — including workshops, lectures, and service projects — build professional and leadership skills. Research opportunities through independent projects, senior seminars, and publishing in Res Historica allow students to deepen their scholarship and stand out as candidates for law school.
