Program Overview
Upon completion of your Associate of Science in Radiology or Associated Medical Imaging degree, you will complete the remaining portion of your degree at Anderson University. You will receive a well-rounded education with an understanding, technical knowledge, and clinical experience in the field. You’ll build a foundation for a health care career through Anderson University’s Gold Core Curriculum and coursework in health care leadership, management, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You’ll spend two years mastering your patient care and imaging skills at AnMed, which has been educating radiologic technologists for more than seven decades.
During the course of your Health Science: Medical Imaging degree at Anderson University you will learn to:• Apply advocacy skills to minimize healthcare access inequity• Demonstrate effective leadership skills to promote organizational success• Identify multicultural approaches to healthcare delivery• Synthesize the interprofessional education and practice domains, including values and ethics, roles and responsibilities, interprofessional communication, and teamwork• Enhance and develop your leadership and health care knowledge through academic inquiry while using current, practical health care models• Enhance your understanding of diverse populations in health care and to prepare you to take a leadership role in the rapidly changing health care environment• Develop knowledge that helps bridge clinical care and health care diversity
With your existing technical Associate degree and Anderson University Core Curriculum, our graduates are well-prepared to be Bachelor prepared radiologic technologists and are sought after by employers in hospitals, free standing clinics, radiology centers, orthopedic practices and other medical settings where radiology services may be preferred.

Admission Requirements
- Previous Degree Required
An applicant must have a Rad Tech/Medical Imaging Associate degree or be a graduate from an accredited Radiologic or Medical Imaging related degree program at a hospital-based or technical school program.
