Program Overview
The Neuroscience degree is an exciting interdisciplinary program combining biology and
psychology that will give you a comprehensive understanding of the brain and behavior. This
program includes coursework in biology, biochemistry, neuroanatomy, and psychology,
providing knowledge necessary for graduate study. You will learn translatable skills in research
methods, statistics, and data analysis. This major is a bridge into any career or graduate program
requiring a biological or psychological background, especially in medicine, clinical psychology,
and rehabilitation.
As a graduate of our neuroscience program you will have a wide array of career opportunities at your fingertips whether you choose to pursue further education or enter immediately into the workforce. If you choose graduate school, you will be prepared for programs in neuroscience, neurobiology, psychology, pharmacology, research, public health, biotechnology, and more. Our program is also uniquely suited for pre-med students which opens the door to med school upon graduating from Anderson University. If you enter immediately into the workforce, you’ll be equipped for roles in counseling, social work, marketing consulting, and public health.

Official high school or GED transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from their previous school.
- Application Deadline
Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
