Bachelor of Science (BS), Elementary Education with add-on certification in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K – 6th Grade)

Program Overview

The hybrid undergraduate Elementary Education program will help expand your knowledge and develop the skills to energize young minds. This track includes an add-on certification in Early Childhood Education and will equip you to teach at any level, from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. You’ll study teaching theories and methods while also gaining an understanding of these students’ learning characteristics. Our hybrid seven-week classes are conveniently designed for the busy working professional.

More than 24 transfer credit hours: Official 2- & 4- year school transcripts need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program.Less than 24 transfer credit hours: Official 2- & 4- year school transcripts as well as official high school or GED transcripts* will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. •GED applicants with no previous college credits will need to submit an admission essay.

Additional Admission Requirements

Can excempt PRAXIS Core with a 22 ACT composite score, 1650 SAT score (2005-2015) or 1100 SAT score (March 2016-present). Must pass PRAXIS within the first semester to remain in program.
