Academic Background
Dr. Jaclyn Gaulden is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Graduate Nursing Program at Anderson University. She is passionate about teaching future nurse practitioners. She received her PhD in Nursing Education from William Carey University and completed her dissertation on the impact of a virtual dementia experience on empathy levels and attitudes toward individuals with dementia. She lives in the upstate of South Carolina with her husband and daughter and continues to practice one day a week as a nurse practitioner in hospice.

Since obtaining my first nursing degree, I knew I wanted to give back and shape the future of nursing through education. I love being able to incorporate my faith into my teaching here at Anderson University.
