Academic Background
Dr. Giovanni A. Calise is a Marketing professor and oversees the Entrepreneurship minor. Dr. Calise is an international scholar in digital marketing and online media, and is the creator of infamous Content Wheel. He received his doctorate from the University of Liverpool, UK; which is a member of the prestigious Russell Group. Before his career in academia, Dr. Calise was an industry expert in digital marketing for 12 years creating over 200 marketing campaigns.

Fast Facts
God has a unique and abundant plan for each and everyone of us. Great learning occurs when we discover how to use our talents and abilities to fulfill that plan. AU provides an awesome experience where students have the ability to explore what that abundant plan is that God has for their life; and then gain the knowledge and skills needed to go off and achieve that plan. To me, this is what makes AU so special.
Marketing is everywhere; it includes the advertisements you see on TV, how you interact with mobile as you search for a car, to how executives analyze big data to discover future trends. Yet, in it’s simplest form, marketing is helping consumers solve their problems and fulfill their needs. Fun fact on marketing: Jesus was the greatest marketer that ever lived.
Interacting with the students. The students at AU are so well mannered and eager to learn, they make teaching here a true joy.
