Fast Facts

I believe teaching is the most important campus activity and I greatly admire and appreciate our AU faculty! I love teaching undergraduates and graduate students, yet given my other responsibilities, I don’t have the opportunity to teach much these days, but when I do, I absolutely love it. My instruction is discussion driven “seminar” for graduate students, myself as facilitator, plus reflective essays and portfolios, student presentations, advanced scholarship, etc. For undergraduates, I use interactive discussions about assigned readings, problem-solving activities, case studies, and simulations.

My academic discipline is “human development,” a multidisciplinary field that focuses on understanding how and why people change over the human lifespan. At Anderson, this allows me to teach organizational science, leadership, management, and honors courses.
