Department of Human Resource Management

What will you learn?

At Anderson University, the Department of Human Resource Management prepares you to understand and lead the people side of business. You’ll learn how to recruit and retain top talent, design effective training programs, and ensure organizations comply with employment laws and ethical practices. Along the way, you’ll develop skills in communication, conflict resolution, and organizational strategy: skills that employers value in every industry.

Graduates are prepared for careers in employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. You’ll also gain the foundation needed to pursue professional certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR, or continue your studies at the graduate level. With internships and real-world projects, you’ll have the chance to apply what you’re learning to the dynamic challenges of today’s workplaces.
