Pre-Physicians Assistant Professional Pathway

Program Overview

The Pre-Physicians Assistant Professional Pathway is designed for students aspiring to become physician assistants (PAs), who play a vital role in healthcare by providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services under the supervision of licensed physicians. This pathway prepares you with the necessary academic foundation and clinical experience to succeed in competitive PA programs.

It includes rigorous academic coursework in core sciences, healthcare ethics, and medical terminology, complemented by hands-on clinical experiences such as shadowing, volunteer work, and internships. The program offers advising and mentorship to navigate the PA program application process, along with preparation for standardized tests.

No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.

Two essays (prompts) OR Official SAT, ACT, or CLT scores

Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
