The weather is always tricky this time of year.
One day it’s nice, the next day it’s not.
That’s why, out of an abundance of caution (stop us if you’ve heard those words before), and concerns over—ahem—“inclement weather,” classes are cancelled on Monday, April 5.
And, just to be extra safe, they’re cancelled on Tuesday, April 6 as well.
All kidding aside, we understand that this has not been the easiest year. That’s why we’ve looked for ways to ease your burden and share our gratitude for your willingness to cooperate with the Anderson University COVID-19 Task Force. What better way to do that than bring back spring break?
Of course, it’s just a small portion of the week you’d normally get to rest, relax and recharge. But it’s no small gesture on our part. Rather, it’s one that we hope truly communicates how thankful we are for your commitment to Anderson University, and the entire campus community.
(Please note: Athletic practices and competitions along with South Carolina School of the Arts rehearsals and performances will proceed as planned. Any adjustments will be determined and communicated by the coach or professor.)
There are no reminders about Journey Ahead protocols today. We just hope and pray that you enjoy these few extra days off, and return ready to finish the 2020-2021 academic year stronger together.
P.S.
Remember when we said you’d love our next update? This is it. (And we were right.)
