Bachelor of Science (BS), Health Science: Medical Imaging

Program Overview

As a Health Science: Medical Imaging major, you’ll complete half of your training at AnMed, a hospital that thoroughly prepares you for immediate employment in the field, or another technical school radiological program. You’ll receive a well-rounded education that’ll give you academic understanding, technical knowledge, and clinical experience. You’ll build a foundation for a health care career through Anderson University’s Gold Core Curriculum and coursework in health care leadership, management, anatomy, physiology, and medical terms. You’ll spend two years mastering your patient care and imaging skills at AnMed or another technical school radiological program.

Because our program is hospital-based, you’ll hit the ground running after graduation. Our graduates are well-prepared to be radiologic technologists and are sought after by employees. With this concentration in Medical Imaging, you can work, acquire certification—or pursue graduate studies—in a variety of areas within radiologic technology including MRI, surgical imaging, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicine.
