The AU Summer Institute

Anderson University’s Summer Institute offers rising 9-12 graders the opportunity to explore an area of interest at South Carolina’s largest private university. With top-notch faculty leading the way, students will learn new skills while building community with like-minded Christians. Join us this summer and experience life as an AU student!

Choir and Vocal Camp

July 8-12, 2024 – Rising 9th-12th Graders – Overnight or Day

Do you enjoy making music with others who love the art of singing? Anderson University voice and choral faculty will help you develop skills in ensemble singing, vocal technique, musicianship, vocal health, and auditioning.

Engineering Camp

June 14, June 28, July 12, and July 26, 2024 – Rising 9th-Incoming College Freshmen – Day Camp

At Anderson University’s Engineering Summer Institute, you will be introduced to STEM education with an emphasis on the exciting field of engineering. This summer’s camp will be comprised of four one-day sessions. Each session will have two distinct parts: an in-depth tour of and interaction with a local engineering industry partner and an engaging, hands-on engineering activity led by AU College of Engineering faculty.

Repertory Theatre Camp

July 8-27, 2024 – Rising 9th-12th Graders – Day Camp

Anderson University’s Rep Theatre gives actors the opportunity to learn skills in set building, costume design, and lighting design with the expert guidance of Anderson University faculty and students. Together, over the space of three weeks, actors will produce a play for the community.

AU Scholars Day

July 8, 2024 – Rising 12th Graders – Day Event

AU Scholars Day invites top-notch high school students for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about Anderson University. With a selection of academic workshops, behind-the-scenes campus tours, and a panel discussion with key institutional leaders, students will gain incredible insight into the culture and happenings at Anderson University. Selected students for the AU Scholars Program will be notified in the spring.
