Bachelor of Arts (BA), Criminal Justice

Program Overview

The Criminal Justice program provides you with the tools to
be a proficient practitioner in the field. You’ll learn how the
structures and functions of the criminal justice system work
together. This program will teach you how to critically analyze
criminal justice issues and provide forward-thinking solutions.
You’ll also learn about arrests, search, and seizures; violence
and victimization issues; crime prevention and services; moral,
ethical, and religious issues pertaining to criminal justice;
juvenile delinquency; the policies, patterns, psychology,
and legal aspects of drugs; and correctional systems. Upon
graduation you’ll have the skills to pursue a career in fields such
as local, state, federal, wildlife, or game law enforcement; the
FBI or Secret Service; investigation or criminology; investigation;
and even victim advocacy.

Admission Requirements
No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.
Official high school or GED transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from their previous school.
Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
