Anderson Day (A Day), April 3, 2025, is a special fundraising campaign that supports student scholarships, campus programs and improvements at Anderson University.
Donors play an important role in ensuring that Anderson University offers the highest level of excellence in academic achievement, athletics and campus enhancements as well as the ministry opportunities they need and the scholarships they deserve.
According to Anderson University College of Health Professions Dean Dr. Donald Peace, ensuring that scholarship money is available to deserving students is a high priority.
Benefiting from the 2024-2025 A-Day Scholarship Awards within the College of Health Professions are Maci Holifield and Maleah Kelley from the School of Physical Therapy, and Meseret Mengesha and Evan Walker from the School of Nursing Graduate Program.
“These awards recognize outstanding academic achievement and dedicated community service. The A-Day funds are specifically designated to alleviate financial burdens associated with educational expenses, including tuition, textbooks, essential technologies, academic journals and specialized software resources,” Dr. Peace said. “The College of Health Professions prioritizes fundraising initiatives to support its students’ academic journeys. Recognizing the substantial costs of clinical and academic texts, the college aims to provide vital resources that empower students to excel in their scholarly pursuits. These scholarships serve as an incentive, enabling recipients to manage tuition costs, build comprehensive academic libraries, and acquire key textbooks and source materials crucial for their future clinical environments. This investment in our students ensures they are well-equipped to become leaders in their respective health professions.”
