The South Carolina School of the Arts will present the wildly successful Disney and Cameron Mackintosh Broadway production of Mary Poppins October 22-25 in the Henderson Auditorium of the Rainey Fine Arts Center. All shows begin at 7:30pm.
After a record-breaking run on Broadway, the production was made available earlier this year to qualified theatre companies. The AU Theatre production will be the first in South Carolina.
The timeless classic with original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and based on the book by Julian Fellowes, the new production features additional songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.
Some tickets remain at the Anderson University Box Office (864) 231-2080. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors and members of the military, and $5 for students under 18 or those with a valid college ID.
