Anderson University’s Office of Student Development invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, Office Manager. Reporting to the Associate Director of Residence Life, the Office Manager is essential in the daily functionality of the Student Life Suite, providing comprehensive administrative support to the offices of Residence Life, Student Activities, Commuter Engagement, Campus Recreation and Fitness, and Student Involvement. The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Student Life Suite, creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for all visitors. Demonstrating exceptional customer service, this individual will answer and direct all calls, emails, student and parent inquiries regarding housing and billing to appropriate personnel, schedule appointments for Student Life staff, and assist the Dean of Student Support with the university’s Trojan Care Network. The Office Manager also recruits, trains, and supervises a team of student employees to maintain desk coverage during business hours, and manages all aspects of invoice processing, credit card and required budget reporting. Additional duties and support to the Student Development staff may be requested.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with one to two years of relevant work experience in an office environment is required. Proficiency in MS Office programs is required; prior experience with StarRez, Workday, Campus Labs, Pharos 360, or other database software is helpful. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills and the ability maintain the confidentiality of sensitive job-related information including, but not limited to, student records, disciplinary and other investigation process records, and other Student Life Office related records.
