David E. Foster

Commercial Mock Audition

David E. Foster is a resident of Anderson, South Carolina and has a bachelor’s degree in dance (Performance/Choreography) from Coker University. Additional training includes Nashville Ballet and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in which he attended on scholarship. David has performed and been dance captain in numerous regional theatre shows such as THE WIZ, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, WHITE CHRISTMAS, 42ND STREET, and A CHORUS LINE. Region theatre director/ choreographer credits include FOOTLOOSE and MAMA MIA. David was also a dancer in the remake of the classic movie DIRTY DANCING, choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbueler. He has also performed in casinos, theme parks, and outdoor theaters. David worked at Cedar Point Amusement Park for 8 seasons, first as a performer, then climbed his way to becoming Operational Supervisor of Live Entertainment then on to become assistant Casting Manager. After resigning from that position he was then hired by CEDAR FAIR corporate office, now SIX FLAGS, to direct and choreograph throughout their entire franchise. David also travels to numerous colleges and universities to conduct general auditions for SIX FLAGS and RWS. He also enjoys traveling, teaching audition prep workshops, and mock auditions to prepare and teach our future generations of artists how to be successful.
