Fast Facts

My classes involve a combination of lectures with lively dialogue, along with exciting projects which emulate conditions one would expect to encounter in the professional world. Along with honing their design abilities, students learn vital skills centered around research methods, workflow, deliverables, software applications, and documentation standards that accurately reflect what will be expected in a professional work setting. Preparation is one of our key goals, so that upon graduation our students are ready to make an impact on day one in their new careers!

Anderson University is truly a unique community, which combines a long tradition of academic excellence with a sincere commitment to developing Christian character. I am excited about the opportunity to walk alongside students as they learn how their faith can play a vital and active role in the practice of Interior Design!

I want prospective students to realize that there are numerous career opportunities within the field of Interior Design! I also want them to know that a career in Interior Design can be about so much more than designing functional and beautiful spaces. It affords one the opportunity to craft experiences, to exercise one’s God-given gifts of creativity, and to use those talents to simultaneously provide needed, practical design solutions, while also building relationships and living as an ambassador of Christ in all facets of life – including one’s profession!

Served as Project Manager and Project Architect for numerous projects and clients of note, including airports, flagship/corporate headquarters, parks, city and county government centers, municipal facilities, cultural venues, as well as church buildings and campuses.

AU attracts students of exceptional talent and character. I love having the opportunity to partner with them in their journey to realize their full potential, not only in developing their professional skills, but in seeing how their chosen career can be an integral part of their mission to make an eternal impact in the world!

Specializing in commercial (including corporate), civic. municipal, cultural, and ecclesiastical design.
