Fast Facts
My strong faith in Jesus Christ is not only integrated with my academic discipline and approach to classroom instruction, but with life itself. I have such gratitude and appreciation for the path that Jesus Christ has paved for my family. The values Anderson University exhibits are a part of my core beliefs and values that I express in both my personal and professional life. Educating future nurses and caring for others is an ultimate passion of mine. Christianity and nursing are similar in many facets; love for our Savior Jesus Christ, compassion, respect, and treating others the way you want to be treated are all components of both Nursing and Christianity. Teaching future nurses these aspects will not only assist them in caring for patients, but in life itself.
Anderson University’s students are exceptional. I am blessed to be a part of the process of educating and seeing the actual progression of students becoming great nurses. Nursing is a great career with so many options and opportunities for advancement. There is an increased need for those in the healthcare profession, and most students will gain job opportunities before they graduate.
