Fast Facts
I believe that the South Carolina School of the Arts is in a position to become the strongest faith based theatre program in the country. The quality of shows is outstanding, the professionals and educators in the department are top notch, and with support from the administration, I believe that AU values the arts tremendously. Not to mention I have family in the upstate, and my husband is a proud AU Theatre alumnus!
Theatre training is the best life training one could ever ask for. Theatre has made me more empathetic toward others, has made me a better collaborator, stronger in my faith, and has prepared me to walk confidently through life knowing what I have to offer. We emulate a creative God, and I think that is such a gift!

I absolutely love the students at AU! I love being in a more relational role and mentoring students in both their academic, creative, and faith journeys. The theatre students are such genuinely good people, and our department is very close knit, and we are always praying with and for each other.
