Fast Facts

In Legal Environment of Business, I guide students through the fundamentals of U.S. law as it applies to organizations. The course emphasizes real-world cases, practical application, and the ways law shapes ethical decision-making in business. My classroom combines lectures and discussion-oriented content, where students learn to analyze legal issues, think critically about rights and responsibilities, and connect principles of law to everyday business practice.

In my Artificial Intelligence course, students explore the history, concepts, and emerging impact of AI on business and society. The course blends technical understanding with ethical and theological reflection, equipping students to engage thoughtfully with AI tools while considering their broader implications. We use hands-on projects and interactive discussions to build both digital fluency and moral discernment in a rapidly changing world.

I teach at Anderson University because I am passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, skills, and character to excel in their professions. AU’s Christ-centered mission allows me to integrate faith into every aspect of teaching and mentoring, helping students not only achieve excellence in their work but also understand how their calling can bring glory to God. My goal is to prepare students to lead with integrity, wisdom, and purpose in a world that urgently needs both competence and conviction.

What I wish prospective students knew is how essential it is to gain digital skills, especially in artificial intelligence, for success in today’s rapidly transforming marketplace. AI is reshaping every profession, and students who develop fluency in these tools will be equipped to lead with confidence and creativity. At the same time, I want students to understand that their chosen profession is also a mission field. Whether in business, law, or technology, their work can be an act of worship when they pursue excellence, serve others faithfully, and bring glory to God in all they do.

What I find most enjoyable about teaching at Anderson University is the opportunity to work closely with students both inside and outside the classroom. I love helping them wrestle with challenging concepts and watching the moment when understanding clicks into place. Beyond the classroom, I value mentoring students, walking alongside them as they grow personally and professionally, and connecting them with opportunities that prepare them for their future careers. These relationships make teaching at AU deeply rewarding.
