Fast Facts

I teach doctoral students in a fully online environment, including both synchronous and asynchronous sessions. I use a form of flipped classroom in which students digest readings and other materials before class and then engage in meaningful discussions during class. My courses are writing intensive to help students prepare for their dissertations.

Teaching at AU allows me to integrate the University’s pillars of great academics and great faith. I find sharing my expertise with students from a Christian worldview to be very stimulating.

Doctoral education is demanding. Doctoral study differs from master’s work in terms of student commitment and individual effort.
