Fast Facts
After spending 13 years in the Early Childhood classroom (K5, 1st, and 2nd grade), I am passionate about preparing teacher candidates for the classroom. I focus on creating a culture in the Early Childhood Department that inspires future educators to create magical engaging learning experiences for their students. I hope to inspire our future educators to care for the whole child and to think outside of the educational box. Christian educators can make an incredible difference in the life of the students that they teach as well as any other stakeholders within the school. I am honored to be part of faculty at Anderson University and create meaningful relationships with students. The environment at Anderson University fosters a community of learners who strive for excellence, which will directly impact future generations.
Teaching is the absolute BEST job ever! Sure, there are tough days, but nothing compares to the joy of creating a safe, loving, and fun-filled learning environment where every child—no matter their background—feels valued and inspired. Every lesson has purpose, every connection is meaningful, and every day brings new moments of laughter, discovery, and growth. Being a teacher isn’t just a job—it’s an adventure, a privilege, and a chance to change the world, one student at a time!
