Academic Background
Kent was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of W. Phillip Saunders and Nancy Trainor Saunders. Kent grew up in Bloomington, IN. Kent met his wife Chrissie in college and their marriage was blessed with three children. Kent loves all their family dogs and grand dogs and enjoys hiking, puzzling, visiting state and national parks, and playing chess. Today, Kent is an Elder at the Midway Presbyterian Church in Anderson and his family lives on a three-acre property where they harvest rainwater for a small orchard and half-acre garden.
