Fast Facts

I try to keep classes engaging and relevant to content you will need the most.

I teach in the following classes in the doctor of physical therapy program: Orientation to the PT Profession, Health Care Communication & Informatics, Assistive Technology & Training, Coordinator of Management of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Dysfunction, Legal, Ethical & Regulatory Issues in Health Care, Motor Development & Control Across the Lifespan (women’s health content), Psychosocial & Spiritual Issues in Health Care, Professional Development, Leadership & Advocacy

I teach at AU because I was drawn to the welcoming culture, commitment to students, strong academic rigor, and love for Jesus that I found there. The physical therapy faculty that I work with are fun, progressive, highly qualified, and committed to being servant-leaders to our PT students. All these factors combined make me love coming to work.

Physical Therapy is a great career path to choose, with many different types of places to work. If you love serving people, and are committed to working and studying hard, PT may be a good career for you.

I am a certified True Colors Intl. Facilitator. True Colors is an engaging personality profiling system that helps a person understand him/herself better, and others to help improve communication. I have taught a number of workshops to college students and adults.
