Fast Facts
I pursued a career in Christian higher education because of my strong desire to teach at a Christian university and integrate my faith in Jesus Christ into instruction, as well asoutside the classroom. My instructional practices are grounded in the belief that students in higher education are forming and solidifying their worldviews, which will guide their decisions for years to come. I desire students to establish a rock-solid foundation in Christ as they prepare to enter the workplace filled with conflicting values.
Human Resources is a very viable field with a bright job outlook. Traditional Human Resource Management major graduates have secured jobs at TD Synnex, the Onyx Group, Sargent Metal, First Quality, Arthrex, and AnMed. The Human Resource Management major at Anderson University focuses on Organizational Development and Change Management. HR is becoming more strategic in helping organizations adapt to a changing workforce, remote work, and shifting labor market trends. The demand for skilled HR professionals continues to grow, with opportunities ranging from recruitment and employee relations to employee training, talent management, succession planning, and HR analytics. HR offers a rewarding and impactful career path for those passionate about organizational performance, employee and team development, culture and change management, data-driven decisions, and workplace culture.
