Dr. Rachel Roberts
Associate Professor of English at NORTH GREENVILLE UNIVERSITY
Dr. Rachel Roberts is Associate Professor of English at North Greenville University, where she also serves as Chair of the English department. She teaches writing and literature, and her academic area of specialty is early British literature, particularly women writers of the 16th and 17th centuries. In addition to enjoying reading for its own sake, Rachel is also interested in reading practices and their power to shape us; with Rachel B. Griffis and Julie Ooms, she coauthored the book Deep Reading: Practices to Subvert the Vices of our Distracted, Hostile, and Consumeristic Age (2024, Baker Academic).
