Dillon Key

Associate Director of Residence Life and Housing Operations

Dillon is originally from Spartanburg, SC, spent a few years in Greenville, and now lives in Anderson with his wife, Kim, and two sons, Josiah and Anders. Dillon received a BA in History from North Greenville University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education: Educational Leadership from Liberty University. He has been working in the area of Housing and Residence Life since 2010, formerly serving at North Greenville University and USC Upstate. Dillon is passionate about student engagement, preparing students for life after college, and mentoring young leaders. In his time off, Dillon enjoys wood working, board games, and well-timed dad jokes.

Josh Watkins

Director of Residence Life

Josh grew up in Toccoa, GA, and spent many formative years on the campus of Toccoa Falls College, where his mother served as Resident Director. Josh resides in Anderson with his wife, daughter, and son (April, Wylee, and Neyland). He earned a B.A. in Mass Communication from Georgia College & State University focusing on Broadcast Journalism. Josh continued his education at Bryan College and received an M.A. in Management & Leadership. His work experience includes positions as Director of Operations and Leadership Development at Chick-fil-A, Resident Director at Bryan College, and Student Navigator at North Georgia Technical College. Josh enjoys leadership development, sports, traveling, and spending time with family.

Anika Womack

RD of College Park West

Anika grew up in Salem, OR and went to college at Northwest Christian University in Eugene, OR. She got her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her time at NCU was spent running on the Track and XC team as well as serving as an RA which is what led her to her love for Residence Life. She spent one year after graduation in the department of Admissions at NCU, then her and her husband, Ben, moved to West Texas to work in Admissions at Lubbock Christian University. After 3 years of working in Higher Education, she finally set out to become a Resident Director. In herdown time, she loves exploring new cities, paddleboarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains, and trying a new coffee shop every chance she gets. She is excited to help college students transform in their time at AU through the big and small moments.

RD of Pratt & Denmark

Gailey is from Piedmont, SC and received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Anderson University. During her time at AU, she served as an RA, leading her to develop a passion for student development and Residence Life. After she graduated, she moved to Union University in Jackson, TN where she worked as an RD and received her MBA. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, baking, & spending time with her friends, family, & her cat, Chester. She is very excited to help students grow personally, professionally, and relationally throughout their time at AU.

Wes graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in Theology/Youth Ministry. He has spent the last five years as a youth pastor in Livingston, Montana where he helped build a youth ministry program for grades 6-12, discipling teens and setting them up for a vibrant life-giving relationship and adventure with Jesus. In joining the AU staff as Residence Director at Village-Kingsley, Wes is excited to continue that mission with students in their next stage.

Jason Davis

RD of Townhomes

Jason is from Lexington, Kentucky. He earned his Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University and earned a Master's Degree in Leadership from North Greenville University/Impact 360 Institute. He’s worked at a few Christian camps in TX and WA. Most recently, he worked as a Graduate Resident at a Christian gap year institute for 2 years. He enjoys the outdoors, specifically backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing, as well as baking, making pasta from scratch and cheesecakes! He thoroughly enjoys playing all kinds of sports and board games too. He looks forward to spending lots of time with his residents and hopes that the Townhomes will grow and challenge each other to become more like Jesus!

RD of Lawton & Rouse

Gabe is the RD of Lawton and Rouse, also known as LaRo by the campus community. He graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Clinical Psychology, and is now pursuing a Master's of Divinity as well as a Graduate certificate in Biblical Counseling. Gabe loves to go on walks, cook and read theology books. Gabe is excited to work with residents and hopes they come to know God as their creator, redeemer, and comforter. He is eager to walk alongside residents as they navigate their college experience.

Will Spears

RD of Village and Kingsley

Will grew up in rural north Alabama and moved to the Gulf Coast for college where he received his Bachelor’s in Special Education from the University of Mobile. After undergrad, he moved to upstate South Carolina to work in the office of Student Engagement and plan campus activities while pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership from North Greenville University. Will is passionate about fostering environments that fuel transformational growth in student's lives during their time on campus. He wants people to always feel seen, known, and included because the Gospel moves at the speed of relationships. He loves exploring new cities, hiking bald rock, scuba diving, baking Nanny’s chocolate cake, reading dystopian novels, watching survivor and playing Catan. Small fun swings open big doors!

Chelsie Duncan

RD of Stringer, Whitaker, and Theme Houses

Chelsie grew up in Rock Hill, SC and went to college at Anderson University. She graduated from AU in May 2025. She got her degree in Elementary Education with a Learning Disabilities add on. At AU, Chelsie spent her time serving as the president of Teaching Fellows, as an RA for a two years, and as a BCM leader for 3 years as well. This is where her love for college ministry began. She spent one year after graduation teaching Special Education before God called her to full time college ministry and opened doors for her to return to AU. In her free time, Chelsie loves taking day trips to the beach, working out, baking sourdough, and hosting as many people over at her house as she can. She is ecstatic to help college students make the most of their time at AU by making them feel seen, known, and loved by her, the university, and most importantly, Jesus Christ.
