Freshmen Admission FAQs
Is there an application deadline?
Anderson has Rolling Admission (students are notified when they are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for best scholarship consideration, but we recommend applying no later than July 1st to begin in the Fall Semester.
Does Anderson require a minimum SAT/ACT for admission?
The Admission Committee gives full consideration to all students. If you are concerned about your test scores or GPA, please contact the Admission Office to talk through your situation specifically.
Are high school honors courses weighed in favor of the grade point average and what is the minimum GPA required?
Anderson uses whichever GPA on the report card is highest. Minimum 3.0 is required.
Will Anderson honor both the SAT and ACT?
Yes. Anderson considers whichever test was best for you. We recommend attempting each test as students have different strengths and weaknesses, which each test highlights differently.
May freshmen have cars on campus?
Yes. Parking permits are $25 each year.
