A Letter from Bruce Henson at Jennings-Dill Inc.
First Founding Family
May 14, 2020
Family Enterprise Colleagues,
Our company was founded as a partnership between John W. Jennings and Jack Dill, Sr. in 1947. Seventy-four years later Jennings-Dill, Inc. is a Family Enterprise rich in history and character. This journey from then to today has taught us that survival as a family business is a complex process.
We believe that The Family Enterprise Institute of South Carolina is a resource worthy of our support and that many family businesses have experienced the same obstacles that we have navigated. A forum that will allow others to share their stories, experience, and advice to generational organizations at various stages of development will be a distinctive resource for the Palmetto State, and we are proud to be a Founding Family of The Family Enterprise Institute of South Carolina. We embrace the opportunity to tell our story and possibly provide knowledge to, and accept wisdom from, others.
Sincerely,
Bruce Henson
President
Jennings-Dill, Inc.
