Academic Background
Cate Gambrell is an instructor of nursing at Anderson University. She has worked as a registered nurse for 12 years in a neuro intensive care unit. She holds two Bachelor’s degrees – one from Clemson University and another from Anderson University, where she graduated as part of the first Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) class. She has been married for 6 years and is the mother of two daughters, ages 2 and 5. Gambrell is a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.

Fast Facts
My class is a clinical based class, skills are taught in the skills lab and reinforced and at the hospital. Skills include nursing Foundations and Adult Health.
I am BLS, ACLS, and NIH stroke certified. I also serve as a charge nurse on my practice day at Anmed Health in the Neuro intensive care unit.
