Bachelor of Science (BS), Community and Public Health

Program Overview

As a Community and Public Health major, you’ll learn essential skills for identifying and solving community health problems. You’ll study evidence-based approaches to public health, including how to implement effective policies, laws, and regulations serving certain populations. You’ll also be prepared to inform and educate others about health issues and research innovative solutions to health problems. Upon graduation, you’ll be equipped to work in the health field outside of a clinical setting with a career in healthcare administration, health education, non-profit organizations, or government agencies.  

Community and Public Health majors are currently building careers in healthcare administration, health education, non-profit work, and government agencies. You will also be equipped to continue your education with advanced degrees in public health, occupational health, or medical science.

Admission Requirements
No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.
Official high school or GED transcripts will need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program. Transfer students must submit official transcripts from their previous school.
Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
