Guidance Counselor WorkshopDan Crabtree is the College and Career Counselor at Wheaton Academy in West Chicago, Illinois. He spent twenty years in college admissions, including twelve as Director of Admission at Wheaton College (IL). Dan is former President of the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) and is currently a NACCAP Governance Committee Representative.

Mark Hines has been the Upper School Counselor at First Baptist Academy of Dallas for the past twenty four years. He currently serves on the NACCAP Board with the High School Professional Development Committee, and often presents at NACCAP conferences. He is active in the DFW Counselor Fellowship and in the Texas Association of College Admission Counselors.

Heather Mills is the Guidance Counselor at Covenant Day School in Matthews, North Carolina, a suburb of Charlotte. She has been counseling either part-time or full-time for 13 years. Heather has experience building successful new guidance programs at two Christian high schools. She proactively creates opportunities to challenge and encourage her students and their parents to think beyond location and name recognition, to the importance of finding a good school that will be a great fit for their son or daughter. Heather is an active member of NACCAP and regular workshop presenter.

Tami Peterson is the director of college advising at Covenant Christian Academy in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With ten years of college advising experience, she was recognized as the 2010 NACCAP Counselor of the Year. She has presented at both regional and national conferences, and some of her most recent presentation topics include: social media and campus ethos, guys and college advising, abandonment and the post-modern home, finding a place in fine arts, and guidance for the Christian athlete.
