The Kim S. Miller Family Enterprise Institute of South Carolina appointed new officers to its Advisory Council.

Leading the Council as Chair is William Jackson, Co-Owner of Instel Power Products. With a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing family-owned enterprises, Jackson brings invaluable insight and expertise to his role, ensuring the Institute’s continued success in supporting and empowering family enterprises throughout South Carolina.

Joining Jackson is Drew Brown of Godshall Staffing, assuming the position of Vice Chair. Brown, known for his strategic acumen and dedication to fostering collaborative environments, is poised to play a pivotal role in guiding the Council towards achieving its objectives and driving meaningful impact within the family enterprise community.

Furthermore, the Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of David Stone, of Stone Family Properties, and McLain Scales, of Greenville Office Supply, as Co-Chairs of the Membership Recruitment and Engagement Committee. With their combined passion for cultivating strong networks and fostering community engagement, Stone and Scales are set to spearhead initiatives aimed at expanding the Institute’s reach and enhancing its support for family enterprises across the region.
