The spread of Coronavirus is a rapidly evolving public health concern, and students should monitor all University news channels while away from campus during Spring Break.

The week before spring break is always an exciting time on campus, but as you know, the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is a rapidly evolving situation.

That’s why the Anderson University COVID-19 Task Force is asking for your help, and thanks you in advance for your cooperation. One thing that sets us apart here is our willingness to care and support each other, and it is in that spirit we’re offering the following resources—and asking you to help us document student travel. Whether or not you are traveling, for your health and the health of others, it is very important that you review each of the below resources.

For information and updates from AU, please visit: andersonuniversity.edu/covid19

To learn more about preventive measures suggested by the CDC, please visit:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html

Description of common symptoms of COVID-19 can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/symptoms.html

Again, it is important that you self-report your international travel during spring break.

This is because COVID-19 continues to spread globally; incidences within the United States are also on the rise. If you are traveling internationally, please fill out the very brief form linked below. If you are traveling within the United States, please check the Anderson University health advisory web page at andersonuniversity.edu/covid19 for any updates prior to your return to campus.

Please support your campus community by taking a moment now to document your travel. This helps the Anderson University COVID-19 Task Force keep the entire AU family safe, and able to respond quickly.

The health and wellness of Anderson University’s students, staff, faculty and partners are our highest priority.  Every effort is being made to ensure that our campus remains prepared and safe.  We appreciate your cooperation in the guidelines above.  We pray the Lord gives you rest and adds to your joy during this spring break so that you may return healthy and ready to finish out the semester strong.

If you exhibit any of the symptoms listed in the Symptoms link above, please call Health Services at Thrive Wellness 864.622.6078 before returning to campus. As in all wellness and health related matters, the staff at Thrive are ready and eager to serve and help you.
